Google Analytics Plugins

I consider myself a Google Analytics power user and this is why I decided to share a set of plugins to obtain useful information from our sites in an easier way.

Since these hacks are normally based on a firefox plugin called Greasemonkey, I recommend to download it first by clicking here.

Trust me, you will find a lot of scripts for GA but most of them are condensed on the following plugins.

- Greasemonkey Based -

Keyword Trends in Google Analytics: This script allows the user to see new referring sites/keywords that have seen a significant boost in traffic sent to the user’s site.

Google Analytics Report Enhancer: this script will help you see the information on the reports in a more accurate way, as well as include new indicators for goal tracking.

  • Adds Digg, Sphinn, Mixx, Reddit, StumbleUpon, Del.icio.us, and Yahoo InLink Metrics to your content detail reports.
  • Auto presses the “Access Analytics” button, if it is displayed.
  • Automatically expands the sub-navigation items that are expandable.
  • Remove the size restrictions from GA text boxes.
  • Adds a “search” button to each row of the keyword report on Google Analytics.
  • Allows you to change the default reports from the overviews to other reports.

Goal Copy Extension for Google Analytics: The Goal Copy extension records all of the values in a Google Analytics Goal Settings form. You can then navigate to another profile where you want to place that copied goal and paste all of those values into the new form.

SEO Firefox Plugins List – Must Have Extensions

Most SEOs have to look at several sources for information, look into website’s source code or just tweak sites for easier handling.

Firefox makes our life easier by letting us add extensions/plugins for this. The thing is finding a right one since there are a lot of applications out there.

I have compiled a list of what I believe are some of the most useful extensions for our daily SEO work.

SenSEO: is an extension checking the most important on-page-SEO-criteria and calculating a grade of how good your site fulfills these criteria.

SearchStatus: Display the Google PageRank, Alexa rank, Compete ranking and SEOmoz Linkscape mozRank anywhere in your browser.

SearchPreview: The extension previously known as GooglePreview. Inserts preview images (thumbnails) and popularity ranks of web sites into the Google, Yahoo and Bing search results pages.

Firebug: Firebug integrates with Firefox to put a wealth of development tools at your fingertips while you browse. You can edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript live in any web page.

SERPAnalytics: SERPAnalytics is a new seo tool to analyze SERPs. This plugin allows you to search in Google and analyze the obtained results in SERPAnalytics.

Foxy SEO Tool: Foxy SEO Tool offers tools for search engine optimization (SEO), web traffic and page analysis for webmasters and web professionals.

SEOpen: Provides quick access to some web-based tools to help with search engine optimization. Quickly check inbound links, PageRank, http headers, and much more.
